Suitable for beginners: I can teach you to play chords, rhythm, finger-strengthening exercises, how to find your own strumming style and finger-picking techniques, tune your guitar... and help you learn the songs you want to play and sing.

I tailor lessons to suit what you're most interested in learning. I can help you find the confidence to play and explore music and to use your natural voice.
I can teach harmonies, microphone/performance and help with songwriting techniques.

If you're already playing, but feel a bit stuck in a rut i can help you find some new grooves, experiment with different styles and alternative tunings.
Explore ways of enhancing your singing and performance, streamline playing covers, or edit your songs and i can assist you with whole-song arrangements.

I'm a songwriter/poet, my background is harmony singing. I've been singing
since i was a child and playing guitar for 34 years and have performed
extensively, and am currently recording my own material. I've played with many musicians and have found some very interesting and simple ways to learn, play and love music! I especially enjoy empowering other women to play and express themselves!

Situated at Waterloo (near Newtown and Redfern), close to public transport. $30 per hour.
