Looking to start a band. My influences are Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins

hi,

i'm 25. i play guitar and sing. i've been writing songs since i was fourteen and am hugely inspired by the three bands mentioned in the 'thread subject'.

i want to be a part of a creative group of people with similiar musical inspirations to put open and equal input into a band.

my idea is to have two guitars, keyboard, violin and/ or cello, bass and drums, but i'm open to suggestions.

as far as vocals go i like the idea of sharing the load and using a fair bit of harmony, having said that, being a singer is by no means a must.
